RigFlex is an add-on by Nerk that adds simple soft body actions to parts of a rig inside Blender. It runs a stable, first order simulation aimed at armatures, with no collisions and no overshoot.
The workflow is straightforward. Select the deform bones you want affected and the keyframe range you're working with, then hit Bake to apply the soft body motion. Baking happens after the animation is done, and a Revert option removes the effect when you no longer need it.
RigFlex works with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer and requires no special permissions. It's released under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later, and it sits at rank 139 in the blender_extensions library. Source and issue tracking are handled through the developer's GitHub page, where you can report problems or check version history.
