Nobe Color Remap sits at rank 205 in the toolfarm library, and earns its place among color tools for its grid-based hue, saturation, and luminosity remapping across several host apps. The split between a Lite edition and a fuller Pro edition, the latter adding ACES, 3D LUTs, and LOG colorspaces, lets colorists pick the feature set they need.
Nobe Color Remap is a color plugin from timeinpixels for After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Premiere Pro, with versions also available for Final Cut Pro X and Photoshop. It handles hue, saturation, and luminosity remapping at 32-bit floating-point precision, which accounts for the color in every pixel.
The interface offers circular and rectangular grids, a Hue-Sat adjustment grid, and a Lum-Sat adjustment grid. Built-in tools cover automated saturation, contrast, and hue angle actions, a color picker, color-drag features, and a real-time color distribution graph. GPU acceleration runs through OpenCL and CUDA.
It comes in Lite and Pro editions. Lite includes the modal window view, hue and luma grids, two color spaces (HSP and HSV), a smooth saturation mode, and basic grid operations. Pro adds an overlay view mode in the viewer, ACES support and instant external-monitor monitoring in that mode, 3D LUT import and export, a Macbeth chart, and six additional LOG colorspaces designed for flat images.
timeinpixels Nobe Color Remap is best for colorists and editors making hue, saturation, and luminosity adjustments in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Premiere Pro.
timeinpixels Nobe Color Remap is completely free to download and use.
Nobe Color Remap runs on both Windows and macOS. The minimum versions are Windows 7 or later, and macOS El Capitan or later for the DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and After Effects plugins. The Final Cut Pro X plugin requires macOS Sierra. The current version is designed to work with DaVinci Resolve version 14 and later. For full details on supported host versions across each application, check the developer's page.
Nobe Color Remap requires a CUDA or OpenCL capable graphics card, and it uses OpenCL and CUDA for GPU acceleration. This applies on both Windows and macOS. If your system meets the minimum OS requirements, Windows 7 or later, or macOS El Capitan or later for the Resolve, Premiere Pro, and After Effects plugins, and has a compatible graphics card, the plugin should run. Check the developer's page for the latest hardware guidance.
Nobe Color Remap needs an active internet connection to activate its license. If the machine running the plugin cannot get online, offline activation is also supported and is documented in the plugin's License activation section. This requirement applies across the supported host applications on both Windows and macOS. For step-by-step instructions on either activation method and current licensing terms, check the developer's page.
Nobe Color Remap comes in Lite and Pro editions. Lite includes the modal window view, the circular and rectangular hue grids, a luma grid, OpenCL and CUDA GPU acceleration, two color spaces (HSP and HSV), a smooth saturation mode, a color distribution graph, a color picker, and basic grid operations. Pro has everything in Lite plus an overlay view mode in the viewer, ACES support and instant external-monitor monitoring in that mode, 3D LUT import and export, a Macbeth chart, and six additional LOG colorspaces for flat images.
Nobe Color Remap is listed here as free. Because it ships in both a Lite and a Pro edition with different feature sets, current licensing terms may differ between them, so check the developer's page for the latest details before downloading. There you can also confirm what license activation involves, including the offline option, and which features come with the edition you choose.
