Nobe LutBake by timeinpixels turns DaVinci Resolve into a LUT authoring tool. You place HALD Generator and LUT Generator nodes around your correction, grade with curves, wheels, LUTs or anything in between, then press a global hotkey to capture the entire node tree as a portable .cube file. An optional DRX still can be exported alongside the LUT.
The resulting LUT can be loaded into LiveGrade, Teradek COLR, Flanders BoxIO, TVLogic IS-Mini, or any LUT-compatible tool. Cube resolution goes up to 100×100×100 with native HALD-matching sizes, and decimal precision is configurable up to 16 digits. Before each capture, the app detects 40+ spatial tools such as blur, grain, and Power Windows; on DaVinci Resolve 20+, detected effects can be auto-disabled and restored after capture.
Nobe LutBake is a macOS menu bar app requiring macOS 13 or later, Python 3, and DaVinci Resolve Studio, since the free version of Resolve does not support external scripting. It bundles an OFX plugin with one-click installation and updates automatically via Sparkle.
