Utility Buddy, from SubPixel LLC, is a project utility for After Effects that helps you locate and update fonts, expressions and effects across a project. It runs inside After Effects and gives you a way to search these elements rather than hunting through layers by hand.
The Apply To feature lets you direct actions to a chosen scope: the entire project, the active comp, or selected layers. From that scope you can mass remove, disable or enable effects and styles across multiple layers, mass remove or disable layers using a particular font, and mass remove expressions. Finding an expression brings you straight to the script rather than only the layer, and you can jump to whatever is selected in the tree.
