Auto Savior earns its place in the aescripts library for combining several save modes — original-only saving, single daily copies, and incremental versions — in one auto-saver.
Auto Savior is an auto-saving utility for After Effects. It can save the original project without creating copies, produce hourly or daily backups, and store incremental versions, with custom options for managing old files.
The save interval is controlled by a "Save Time" slider that reaches 60 minutes, letting you save every minute, every hour, every day, or at a custom interval. A "Maximum Project Versions" slider goes up to 60. A "Save Just the Original Project" option behaves like pressing Ctrl + S at regular intervals, saving the original file without new copies, while "Save One Copy" keeps a single updated copy each day, useful for large projects spanning multiple days.
Version 1.2.0 adds the option to pause saving when no changes are made to the project for one minute, helping prevent unnecessary copies, and resuming immediately when you make a change; this feature can be toggled on or off.
