Voxel Sorter Pro converts footage into a tiny voxel world that you can tilt, light and pixel-sort in 3D. It runs in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, and this Pro version adds Depth of Field, Motion Blur and Depth pass generation on top of the base effect.
Recent updates broadened what the Pro tier can do. Version 1.9.0 introduced Blend params for smoothly transitioning in and out of Voxel Sorter, and made Generate Depth (Pro) work in 16-bit. The same release lowered GPU memory use on DaVinci Resolve 16-bit paths and stopped crashes on GPU out-of-memory. Version 1.9.1 then fixed depth map generation on Mac.

Version 1.9.1 fixed an issue with generating the depth map on Mac. If you plan to use it inside Resolve, running an up-to-date build helps with these 16-bit and GPU fixes.

Voxel Sorter Pro 1.9.1, released June 26, 2026, fixed an issue with generating the depth map on Mac. The prior 1.9.0 update added Blend params to smoothly transition in and out of Voxel Sorter, made Generate Depth (Pro) work in 16-bit, lowered GPU memory use on DaVinci Resolve 16-bit paths, and stopped crashes on GPU out-of-memory. Version 1.8.5 addressed crashes on some Macs, GPU errors on Windows, and a Windows logging issue.
