YY_Ramp+ earns its place in the aescripts library by adding parameters like opacity and blend modes, extra ramp shapes and a midpoint slider to a ramp effect, all in a native build. It carries a popularity rank of 23 on aescripts.
YY_Ramp+ is a ramp effect for After Effects from developer Andrew Yang. It offers more parameters than a basic ramp, including opacity and blend modes, and it now runs as a native plugin that is faster and CS6 compatible.
The plugin adds 20 additional blend modes, along with angle, reflected and diamond ramp shapes and a ramp midpoint slider. A super-fast Ramp Scatter parameter is available on CS5 and later. Backwards compatibility is retained with versions 2.0 and 2.1.
Version 2.8 introduced support for Apple M1, and earlier updates brought support for MFR and macOS 10.15 Catalina. Compatibility spans a wide range of After Effects releases, from CS4 through the 2024 version. Full version history and licensing details are available on the developer's page.
