AE Notepad 2, developed by SUZA VFX, is a note-taking plugin for After Effects and Premiere Pro. It lets you capture ideas and track editing tasks as notes and todos, each carrying a timestamp so you can jump back to any moment in your timeline. Finished sets of notes can be exported to PDF.
Notes can be set and filtered by priority, and tagged with the comp they belong to. The Canvas mode supports rich text, and notes autosave every five seconds. It runs on After Effects and Premiere Pro from CC 2018 through the 2026 releases, on Windows 10 and later or macOS 10.14 and later.
