Font Previewer earns its place in the toolfarm library as a focused font browser for After Effects, pairing keyword search and favorites with the ability to apply a font straight from its panel.
Font Previewer is a panel for After Effects, developed by Alex Lee, for previewing and managing fonts. It shows each font rendered with sample text and lets you search the font list by keyword to find the one you're after.
Beyond previewing, you can adjust size, style, tracking and other settings on the preview, save and load your own sample text, and add fonts to favorites while organizing them into folders. Three color themes are included — dark, default and light — along with wide and compact layouts for the panel. When you settle on a typeface, you can apply it in After Effects directly from the plugin window.
Compatibility runs from CS6 through After Effects 2025, covering the CC releases in between, on both Windows and Mac. It's a dedicated font browser for AE artists who want to compare typefaces at a glance.
