Beaver - Automatic Retopology And Retexturing handles retopology inside Blender, the process of reformatting a detailed, high-resolution 3D model into a lighter, streamlined version that keeps its visual appeal. It ships with a selection of retopology algorithms for versatility and precision, and turns work that would take hours into seconds of algorithm time.
Alongside the retopology, Beaver bakes textures covering color, normal, roughness, and ambient occlusion, at any resolution you choose. It can convert a high-resolution model into a render-friendly version, and it produces multiple Levels of Detail (LOD) for detailed game environments, generating several LODs along with their baked textures.
Beaver runs on Blender 3.3 through 3.6 and is released under the GPL license. Documentation covers the feature set, and a demo video is available.
