Blender AI Render - Stable Diffusion & ControlNet is an add-on for Blender built by developer and Blender user Alejandro Tulio Camus Hernandez, combining existing technologies into a single tool. It uses an API and a simple text prompt to generate images that use your original Blender renders as a base, so you can transform rendered images without relying on repetitive post-processing techniques or nodes.
The add-on connects to replicate.com, where you create an account and obtain a token. Because the generation runs through that API, there is no need to download 40GB of AI models, invest in a fast GPU with demanding CPU usage, or set up complex external installations. Each render costs a small per-image fee charged through your replicate.com account.
With a text prompt and a click, the tool can produce results in styles such as landscapes, sci-fi, watercolour, and anime. It is released under the MIT license and supports a wide range of Blender versions, from 2.8 through 3.5. Documentation is included to help you get set up.
