Bool Manager centers the boolean workflow on a single panel with group and display controls, an approach that stands out in the Superhive library for artists managing many cutters at once.
Bool Manager brings boolean operations in Blender into one panel with a visual, organized interface. Instead of managing cutters through the modifier stack, you can add objects as booleans by selecting targets directly in the viewport: choose one or more cutter objects, click Add as Boolean, then pick a target in the 3D viewport to apply the operation.
The add-on centers on organization. Boolean Group Management lets you arrange multiple operations with flexible group structures, while Parent Groups let you nest groups under named containers you can collapse or expand. A search bar helps locate cutters inside groups, and Modifier Display controls let you choose whether booleans appear in the viewport, edit mode, or final render independently. Global settings include Auto Hide for cutters, Show as Wire, and calculation modes.
Calculation runs in Exact mode for high-precision results or Fast mode for previews. The developer suggests uses spanning hard surface modeling, modular structure design, sci-fi asset creation, kitbashing, and organized boolean pipelines in complex projects. Bool Manager is built by Techqon core (TQ Core), one of a set of Blender add-ons from the developer.
Bool Manager is best for blender artists doing hard surface modeling, modular structure design, sci-fi asset creation, kitbashing, and organized boolean pipelines in complex projects.
Bool Manager is completely free to download and use.
Bool Manager applies booleans through a viewport-based flow. Select one or more objects to act as cutters, click Add as Boolean, then choose a target object in the 3D viewport, and the selected objects are applied as booleans on that target. Boolean objects are deselected automatically during target selection to keep the process clean. You can later expand a group using Add Selected to Group, and the Fast Selection Mode lets you add cutters quickly through direct viewport selection.
Bool Manager offers two calculation modes so you can match the operation to your needs. Exact mode is intended for high-precision boolean results and detailed shapes, while Fast mode is suited to previews. You switch between them depending on the task, so you can keep interaction responsive during layout and reserve Exact mode for final, detailed geometry. This choice sits alongside the add-on's other global settings such as Auto Hide and Show as Wire for cutters.
Bool Manager includes Modifier Display controls that let you choose where a boolean is active independently: the viewport, edit mode, or the final render. This means you can keep a boolean visible while modeling but manage how it behaves at render time, or the reverse. Combined with group organization and Parent Groups for nesting operations under named, collapsible containers, these display settings are designed to keep the modifier stack organized in complex scenes.
Bool Manager is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing terms can change over time, so check the developer's page on Superhive for the current details before you download. The add-on is made by Techqon core, also referred to as TQ Core, who offer a range of other Blender add-ons. A demo video is also available if you want to see the add-on before installing it.
