CamSplitter 2 from CG-Mechanics addresses GPU memory limits when rendering ultra-high-resolution images in Blender. The add-on splits your camera view into manageable tiles, renders each one individually, and reassembles them into a final image without visible seams or quality loss. This approach lets you produce 8K, 16K, or higher resolution renders on standard hardware.
Beyond rendering, CamSplitter 2 includes scene analysis tools that reveal geometry complexity. Heatmaps visualize triangle density and identify memory-heavy objects by polygon count, helping you optimize a scene before rendering. Real-time HUD overlays provide live insights during viewport navigation, and a Memory/Polygon Analyzer offers additional diagnostics.
The add-on works with Cycles and Eevee and supports Blender versions 4.3 to 4.5. It is Blender Extension compatible and distributed under the GPL license. Documentation is included, and a demo video is available.
