Circularize earns its place for a narrowly focused job: taking a messy vertex ring and snapping it back to a clean circle without building and joining a separate circle mesh. The Radius Type, Even Angles and cursor-align options give it enough control to finish the shape in place.
Circularize is a Blender add-on for reshaping a selection of vertices into a proper circle. When a ring of vertices ends up wonky, whether from a squarish starting shape or from vertices that got nudged out of place, the add-on projects them out to a circle rather than requiring you to build and join a new circle mesh.
A Radius Type setting controls how the selection is read as a radius, with Average, Minimum and Maximum options. By default the vertices are projected out to the circle's radius and stay where they sit; enabling Even Angles sorts them clockwise and distributes them evenly around the circle, though the joining edges may look twisted. Scale adjusts the radius, Push moves the circle along the selected vertices' plane normal, and Spin rotates it around that normal.
Align Cursor aligns the 3D cursor to the final plane normal so you can keep working on the circle afterward. To use it, select the vertices, click the Circularize operator, and adjust the options. It runs on Blender 3.6 through 4.2 and is released under the GPL license.
Circularize is best for blender modelers who need to convert uneven or nudged vertex selections into clean circles during mesh editing.
Circularize is completely free to download and use.
Circularize lists support for Blender 3.6, 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2, so it runs on version 4.2 as well as several earlier releases. It is also marked as Blender Extension compatible and is distributed as an add-on. If you are on a newer or older build than those listed, check the developer's page to confirm compatibility before installing, since the supported range reflects the versions noted for this release.
Circularize is released under the GPL license and is provided as a Blender add-on. For the exact terms, redistribution rights, and any conditions that apply to your use, refer to the license text and the developer's page. The add-on is also listed as Blender Extension compatible, so it can be installed through Blender's extension handling on the supported Blender versions, which range from 3.6 up to 4.2. If any licensing details are unclear, the developer's page is the best place to confirm them.
Circularize works from a vertex selection: pick the vertices you want to form a circle, then run the Circularize operator. From there you can adjust the options, including the Radius Type, Even Angles, Scale, Push, Spin and Align Cursor. Enabling Even Angles sorts the vertices clockwise and spaces them evenly around the circle. Align Cursor aligns the 3D cursor to the final plane normal so you can continue working on the result afterward.
Circularize is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing and availability can change over time, so for the current terms and any purchase details, check the developer's page directly. The add-on itself is released under the GPL license and provided as a Blender add-on, which governs how you can use and redistribute it once installed on a supported Blender version.
