constrnHouse earns its place for keeping measurements adjustable at any time and offering two finishing options—join, which keeps meshes separately editable, and merge, which produces a single clean mesh with rectangular faces. That same set of floors, walls, columns and beams also builds structures beyond houses, such as benches, fences and stairs.
constrnHouse is a Blender addon built around modeling house plans. You add floors, walls, columns and beams with a few clicks, drill holes for windows and doors in walls and floors, and keep total control over the measurements. Everything runs through the addon panel, where you can change the thickness of floors or walls at any time with a single command, set dimensions relative to other objects, or type in the dimensions of your plan.
Beyond house plans, you can combine the basic objects—floors, walls, columns and beams—to model benches, fences, stairs and similar structures that read as concrete buildings. When the structure is done, finish it with join or merge: join combines selected objects into a new one while keeping each mesh selectable in edit mode, and merge produces a single mesh with perfect rectangular faces and internal faces deleted, ready for a clean bevel modifier.
constrnHouse supports Blender 3.3 through 4.5 and works with Cycles and Eevee. Detailed documentation is available.
Constrnhouse is best for blender users modeling house plans and concrete-style structures like benches, fences and stairs with precise measurement control.
Constrnhouse is completely free to download and use.
constrnHouse supports Blender versions 3.3 through 4.5, so it runs on 4.5 as well as older releases within that range. It also works with both the Cycles and Eevee render engines. The most recent update, version 1.0.1 from October 2025, changed the about panel while keeping the same Blender compatibility range. If you are on a version outside 3.3 to 4.5, check the developer's page for details before installing to confirm it fits your setup.
constrnHouse gives you two ways to finish a build. The join option combines all selected objects into a new one, but you can still select each mesh separately in edit mode. The merge option combines the selection into a single mesh, generating perfect rectangular faces and automatically deleting internal faces, which lets you apply the bevel modifier cleanly afterwards. You can use whichever suits your workflow, keeping parts editable with join or producing one clean mesh with merge.
constrnHouse is built for house plans, but you can also model other objects by combining its basic pieces—floors, walls, columns and beams. Using these, you can create benches, fences, stairs and similar structures that look like concrete buildings. The same controls apply throughout, so you can set dimensions relative to other objects, precisely move and resize, and flip, move and rotate multiple objects, then finish by joining or merging them into a single result.
constrnHouse is listed as free here and is released under the GPL license. Because licensing and availability can change over time, check the developer's page for the current terms, including any free version that may be offered. The addon comes with detailed documentation to help you get started, and a demo video is available for a closer look before you decide whether it fits your projects.
