DAMTools earns its place in the superhive library by consolidating 50+ modeling operators and a bundled slicer exporter into one Shift+W pie menu.
DAMTools gathers a large set of modeling operators for Blender behind a pie menu accessed with the Shift+W hotkey. The menu holds 50+ operators grouped into Manipulation, Edit/Draw, Cleaning, Transform and Hard Surface categories, and includes a dynamic Most Used section that adapts to your workflow. The interface is customizable, with tool visibility controls for choosing which operators show up.
On the modeling side, the add-on includes Extract Faces Interactive with multi-object selection, paint mode and real-time preview; damPrimitives with live dimension control and smart snapping; Quick Slice; a Revolve Tool with different revolve origins; InternalUnion; and Face Offset. Cleanup and utility operators cover Join Nearby, TopoCleaner with default and aggressive modes plus recursive cleaning, Vertex Intersect, and Split Loose Parts in one click.
For file handling and 3D printing, DAMTools bundles the SlicerExport addon, which exports to BambuSlicer and PrusaSlicer and can update the export. It also offers Batch Import, Batch Export that is aware of the Batch Import, STL Export that remembers the last directory, and Extract Selection for isolating parts.
Damtools is best for blender modelers who want manipulation, cleanup, hard surface and 3D printing export operators reachable from a single pie menu.
Damtools is completely free to download and use.
DAMTools opens its toolset through a pie menu triggered by the Shift+W hotkey. The menu groups operators into categories including Manipulation, Edit/Draw, Cleaning, Transform and Hard Surface, and adds a dynamic Most Used section that adapts to your workflow. The interface is customizable, with tool visibility controls so you can decide which operators appear. The Select Linked tool added in the latest release is also available in the pie menu while working in Edit Mode, so it fits the same access pattern as the other operators.
DAMTools 1.7.2 adds a Select Linked tool for Edit Mode that works like Circle Select but selects entire connected geometry islands, with a visual circle cursor following the mouse, mouse wheel to adjust the radius, CTRL+Click to deselect islands and ALT+Click for a fast mode without undo steps. This release also fixes the Cross Connector with a rewritten two-phase intersection algorithm and a configurable tolerance parameter, and corrects Topo Cleaner so ALT+Click triggers recursive cleaning and the Default and Aggressive presets use the intended dissolve angles.
DAMTools includes the SlicerExport addon, which exports to BambuSlicer and PrusaSlicer and can update the export. Alongside slicer export, the add-on handles Batch Import for processing multiple files, Batch Export that is aware of the Batch Import, and STL Export that remembers the last directory you used. Extract Selection lets you quickly isolate parts for separate processing. Together these cover the file handling and 3D printing side of the DAMTools toolset, making it useful for preparing meshes headed to a printer.
DAMTools is listed as free in this catalog. For current licensing details, and for the BetaReleases version mentioned by the developer, check the developer's page directly. The developer also runs a Discord server and notes that buyers of the BetaReleases version should send a message to be added to the proper Discord channel. Because distribution terms can change over time, the developer's page is the most reliable place to confirm how DAMTools is offered and what any beta access involves.
