A focused utility that keeps object measurements visible in the 3D Viewport, with broad Blender version support spanning 2.8 through 4.2.
Dimension Master Pro by Tri-vima Studio is a Blender add-on for reading object dimensions directly in the 3D view. Once a mesh object is selected, it shows the width, height, and length, and you can display those values in meters, centimeters, millimeters, inches, or feet and inches.
Unit switching happens within the 3D view UI. A dropdown in the Dimensions tab lets you choose your preferred unit, and the displayed values update to match. Selecting Feet & Inches shows the dimensions as feet and inches with decimal accuracy. The add-on works with all mesh objects in Blender.
Installation follows the standard Blender add-on flow: download the .zip file, open Edit → Preferences → Add-ons, click Install, select the file, and activate. From there, select a mesh object and open the Dimensions tab on the right side of the 3D Viewport to view its measurements. Documentation is included, and a demo video is available.
Dimension Master Pro Addon is best for 3D artists, designers, and engineers who need accurate dimension readings while modeling in Blender.
Dimension Master Pro Addon is completely free to download and use.
Dimension Master Pro lists compatibility with a wide range of Blender releases, from 2.8 up through 4.2. This includes the 2.8x series, the 2.9x series, the 3.0 through 3.6 versions, and 4.0, 4.1, and 4.2. That coverage means the add-on can be used across both older and current Blender installations, so it fits into long-standing project setups as well as recent releases without being tied to one specific version.
Dimension Master Pro installs through Blender's standard add-on process. Download the add-on file as a .zip, then open Blender and go to Edit → Preferences → Add-ons. Click Install, select the downloaded file, and activate the add-on. Once enabled, select any mesh object in your scene and open the Dimensions tab on the right-hand side of the 3D Viewport. The width, height, and length will appear based on the unit you choose from the dropdown menu.
Dimension Master Pro can display object dimensions in meters, centimeters, millimeters, inches, and feet & inches. You switch between these unit types directly within the 3D view UI using the unit selector, and the displayed values change instantly to the selected unit. When you choose Feet & Inches, the dimensions are shown as feet and inches with decimal accuracy for precise measurement in workflows that need those units.
Dimension Master Pro works with all mesh objects in Blender. After selecting a mesh object in your scene, open the Dimensions tab in the 3D Viewport to see its width, height, and length. The values update automatically based on the unit you have chosen. The add-on integrates into the 3D view, so the width, height, and length readings stay visible while you continue modeling in your scene.
