Easy Command Line Batch Render is an addon for Blender that turns the Video Sequence Editor into a GUI for generating batch files. It produces cross-platform batch scripts (.bat, .sh) for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Batch files can contain multiple scenes, use different file formats and resolutions, hold frame ranges or single frames, and combine several batch files into a single one.
The addon relies on built-in Blender features and imposes no duplication with existing functionality. It generates an overview text output file so you can inspect what image sequences will be output before committing to a render. Warnings are shown first, with extra information kept available for more curious users.
It is aimed at artists who prefer to see what works in the Sequencer rather than writing down frame ranges numerically. The addon includes a Geometry Node Tree, easyFrameCounter, that can be appended to any scene and used as a frame preview reference to the original scene while in the VSE. An in-depth tutorial video is available.
