easyRulers 2 earns its place in the aescripts library by focusing on one job — generating graphical measuring rulers — and its 2.20 update brings Apple Silicon support, a date function and pointer controls to that toolkit.
easyRulers 2, from Real Creations, is built to create any type of graphical measuring ruler in After Effects. It targets artists who make gauges, scopes, speedometers, graphical equalizers, HUDs, UI elements, historical timelines, instrumentation layouts, infographics and audio interfaces.
Version 2.20 adds a date function that outputs formats like 31/12/2022, 31.12.2022 and 12/2022, along with the ability to loop through weekdays (Monday to Sunday, Mon to Sun) and months (January to December, Jan to Dec). It introduces a pointer blink function, a checkbox for locking the pointer in place, and completion percentage Wiggle options with Speed, From, To and Seed controls. You can also set separate size, position offset and tracking for the prefix and suffix of text layers.
