Ez Mirror earns its place by folding Blender's multi-step mirror setup — adding modifiers, setting pivots, flipping symmetry — into one interactive shortcut, so mirroring stays in the viewport rather than the menus.
Ez Mirror is a Blender add-on from 3Z Axis that turns mirroring into a single interactive operation. Select a mesh or curve, press Alt + X, and choose the X, Y, or Z axis to mirror in the direction you need. It works in both Object Mode and Edit Mode.
Two modes cover different workflows. Modifier Mode applies non-destructive mirroring through Mirror Modifiers, while Symmetry Mode applies direct symmetry on the mesh. Advanced controls let you set orientation (Local, Global, View, or Cursor) and pivot point (Active, Median, Cursor, or Individual), and multi-object support mirrors several objects at once with a single click.
While in Mirror Mode, the Quick Menu on the D key opens mirror settings, and ESC or RMB exits back to your workflow. The add-on is delivered as a .zip ready to install in Blender, supports versions 3.0 through 4.5, and is distributed under the GPL license with documentation and support.
Ez Mirror is best for hard surface modeling, character sculpting base meshes, environment art, game asset creation, and speed modeling or prototyping.
Ez Mirror is completely free to download and use.
Ez Mirror lists support for Blender versions 3.0 through 4.5, so it covers Blender 4.5 as well as the 3.0 baseline. The add-on runs in both Object Mode and Edit Mode, and works on meshes and curves. It ships as a .zip ready to install in Blender, with documentation and support included. If you are on a newer or unlisted Blender release, check the developer's page to confirm current compatibility before installing.
Ez Mirror offers two modes for mirroring. Modifier Mode applies non-destructive mirroring using Mirror Modifiers, while Symmetry Mode applies direct symmetry on the mesh itself. In either mode you press Alt + X to start, choose the X, Y, or Z axis, and can adjust orientation (Local, Global, View, Cursor) and pivot points (Active, Median, Cursor, Individual) through the advanced controls. Exit with ESC or RMB when you're finished.
Ez Mirror includes multi-object support, letting you mirror multiple objects at once with a single click. You start mirror mode with Alt + X, pick the axis you want, and the Quick Menu on the D key gives access to mirror settings while you are in Mirror Mode. Orientation and pivot point options let you set how the mirror is applied across the selection. When you're done, ESC or RMB exits and returns you to your workflow.
Ez Mirror is listed as free here, and it's distributed under the GPL license. The add-on comes as a .zip ready to install in Blender, and includes documentation and support, plus free lifetime updates according to the developer. Because pricing and license terms can change over time, check the developer's page for the current details before downloading so you know exactly what's included with your copy.
