Earns its place in the superhive library for a straightforward preset-and-shrink workflow that sticks graffiti text onto surfaces without extra setup.
Graffiti Decal Addon places text-based graffiti on walls or any object in Blender, aimed at street scenes. It ships with over 40 presets plus 82 additional graffiti tags packed into one font file, and the developer notes more fonts are planned in future updates.
The workflow runs through a short set of steps: pick a preset, click Add Graffiti, select the target wall or object, then click Shrink To Target. A shrink property adjusts the distance between the wall and the graffiti. To attach a separate object to a surface, select the target, click the object, and use Shrink To Target again. When finished with text objects, convert them to mesh and use the Parent button to parent the result to the object.
Colors for the font presets can be adjusted, and the fonts are royalty free with permission secured for use in the addon. For extra graffiti tags, the preset named presets lets you enter edit mode and swap the characters. Blender support spans from 2.8 through 4.0, and a demo video is available.
Graffiti Decal Addon is best for adding graffiti text and decals to walls and objects in Blender street scenes.
Graffiti Decal Addon is completely free to download and use.
Graffiti Decal Addon lists support across a wide range of Blender releases, from 2.8 up through 4.0, including the 2.9x and 3.x lines. That coverage means it can run on older projects as well as newer builds within that range. For the most current compatibility details and any versions added after this range, check the developer's page before installing, since support can shift with future updates.
Graffiti Decal Addon works through a short sequence: select the preset you want, click Add Graffiti, choose the target wall or object, then click Shrink To Target. A shrink property controls the distance between the wall and the graffiti, so you can adjust how close it sits. To stick a separate object to the surface, select the target first, click the object, and click Shrink To Target again.
Graffiti Decal Addon includes over 40 presets plus 82 more graffiti tags stored in one font file. To use additional tags, select the preset named presets, go into edit mode, erase the existing characters, and type the character that corresponds to the tag you want. You can also adjust the colors on the font presets, and the developer states these fonts are royalty free with permission obtained to use them in the addon.
Graffiti Decal Addon is listed as free in this catalog, and its license is noted as royalty free. Licensing terms can change over time, so check the developer's page for the current pricing and license before you rely on it for a project. The bundled fonts are also royalty free, with the developer stating permission was secured to include them in the addon.
