Imperfect Aperture Maps For Perfect Cgi Bokeh is a texture collection of 95 high-resolution aperture maps for Blender, built to shape the depth-of-field bokeh your renders produce. Many modern render engines let you change the shape of a camera's aperture for more interesting, realistic depth of field, and these maps take that further by adding dirt and chromatic aberration to the aperture shape. Most were created from real-world bokeh shapes and apertures, with extras such as aperture shapes for the Lens Baby and the Neptune Art Lens, plus some entirely made-up designs.
A Blender camera rig for custom bokeh is included. After unzipping the rig archive and opening its .blend file, you swap the aperture map in the "Custom Aperture Map" object's image texture node, adjust the "Bokeh Camera" aperture, and set the focal point using the "Focal Point" object or the camera's Depth of Field distance. The maps are compatible with Cycles, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Octane, Arnold, Frischluft Lenscare, DOF Pro and many more.
Documentation is included, a demo video is available, and the collection is distributed under the GPL license with support across Blender versions from 2.6x through 4.0.
