Built on Geometry Nodes and works with both Cycles and Eevee, keeping generation editable throughout the workflow.
Industrial Procedural Building Generator (IPBG) is a Geometry Nodes add-on for Blender that generates buildings, custom structures, and city layouts from a base mesh. Start from a simple cube and generate layered industrial structures with modular forms, mechanical elements, surface details, and visual variation. The workflow is procedural, editable, and non-destructive, with controls accessible directly from the Blender N-Panel.
The result is shape-driven: create a custom silhouette and IPBG generates the industrial detailing around its form. Change the mesh proportions and the generated structure updates with it. Generated details, including wires and cables, exhaust fans and ventilation elements, piping systems, panel seams, and trims, adapt to the structure as the underlying form changes. Changing the random seed explores different layouts, silhouettes, and detail distributions from the same base mesh.
Direct controls let you adjust density, complexity, proportions, variation, and visible detail from the N-Panel without rebuilding the model. Two built-in texture presets enable one-click material switching. Performance controls let you adjust detail levels and provide warnings when the input mesh is too dense.
Industrial Procedural Building Generator is best for blender artists building industrial buildings, mechanical structures, and large-scale environment assets who want to avoid remodeling repeated details.
Industrial Procedural Building Generator is completely free to download and use.
Industrial Procedural Building Generator lists compatibility with Blender versions 4.5 through 5.1 and is a Blender Extension-compatible add-on. It is built as a Geometry Nodes setup and works with the Cycles and Eevee render engines. Before installing, confirm your Blender version falls within the supported range on the developer's page, since compatibility outside that window is not stated.
Industrial Procedural Building Generator is controlled directly from the Blender N-Panel. From there you can adjust density, complexity, proportions, variation, and visible detail without rebuilding the model. Because the workflow is non-destructive, you can edit the base mesh and the procedural result updates throughout the workflow. Changing the random seed explores different layouts, silhouettes, and detail distributions from the same base mesh. Performance controls let you adjust detail levels and warn you when the input mesh is too dense, keeping the shape-driven generation manageable as you iterate.
Industrial Procedural Building Generator includes two built-in texture presets, letting you change the appearance of generated structures with one-click material switching and without rebuilding the material setup. Generated details such as wires and cables, exhaust fans and ventilation elements, piping systems, panel seams, and trims adapt to the structure automatically as the underlying form changes. The add-on is built as a Geometry Nodes setup and works with both the Cycles and Eevee render engines in Blender, so material choices carry through the procedural, non-destructive workflow.
Industrial Procedural Building Generator is listed as free in this catalog. It is distributed under the GPL license and is a Blender Extension-compatible add-on from Quad Lab. Licensing and any support or update terms can change, so check the developer's page for the current details before you download. The listing also references product updates and support provided by Quad Lab.
