Instant Stairs earns its place in the Superhive library by keeping stair creation inside the familiar Add Mesh menu and covering Blender releases from 2.8 through 4.0 under a Creative Commons license.
Instant Stairs is a Blender addon for producing staircases without building them from Blender's default tools. It adds two new options to the Add Mesh menu: once you set a few parameters, the addon instantly generates a set of stairs, either a straight flight or a spiral one, in just a few clicks.
The addon suits situations where you need an evenly measured flight of stairs to drop into a scene, such as the early design stages of a level. Version 1.3 replaced the previous hard maximum limits with soft maxes, so you can specify more than 100 stairs and enter large numbers in other fields. An earlier update, version 1.2, fixed normal generation.
