The KHAOS Fire Shader is a volumetric shader for Blender, developed by LIGHTARCHITECT. It was originally created as the default domain material for the KHAOS explosion add-on and is now offered as a standalone product for shading smoke volumes.
The shader is built around two adjustable nodes with customizable settings. From within those two nodes you can change smoke color, smoke density, smoke contrast, flame color, flame brightness, flame contrast, and color ramp values. If you want more control, you can attach your own input nodes into the fire shader for a different result.
The material is packed as a simple add-on with a single install button. Installing it through Blender's user preferences imports the shading material into your scene and makes it available for your smoke domain materials without appending it step by step. After installation, you can access it through its tab on the right tool panel inside Blender. Documentation is included, and a demo video is available.
