King Of Light is a gobo pack for Blender. A gobo is a light texture that casts detailed lighting and shadows into a scene — light through a window, light passing through forest leaves, or the shadow of a person on the street. You add them by dragging and dropping through the asset browser, then adjust softness, power and size using the controls in the light properties.
The pack holds 365 gobos in total, including 72 animated gobos and 8 procedural gobos. The procedural options — a procedural window, a procedural fan and a procedural edge — use sliders so you can build your own. Categories cover a wide spread, including animals, branches, clouds, caustics, dust, fans, fences, forest, godrays, plants, rain, smoke, water drops, real and CG trees, and several window combinations.
King Of Light works in Blender 3.6, 4.0 and 4.1, and probably runs in older versions though that isn't confirmed. Documentation is included, and a demo video is available.
