Ls Imm Tool brings a ZBrush-style Insert Multi Mesh approach to Blender through the geometry node modifier.
Ls Imm Tool works in Blender to generate a new mesh from several input meshes, following an approach similar to the Insert Multi Mesh function found in ZBrush brushes. It is built on the geometry node modifier, so meshes are generated in a non-destructive manner. A single combination can bring together up to five meshes, and different numbers of meshes can be used according to need.
The add-on exposes a range of parameters for adjusting the result. You can freely tune the density of the transition mesh and the position of the mid-section mesh, among other settings. Later updates added a function for quickly creating IMM objects, a function for updating IMM node groups, transfer of the .uv_seam attribute, and a Tilt smoothing feature, along with mesh end-recognition modes, splice offsets, gap adjustments, mesh reversal, and UV unwrap options.
The add-on ships with documentation and includes both Chinese and English translations. It supports Blender version 4.2 and later and is available through Superhive.
Ls Imm Tool is best for blender artists working on 3D character modeling who want to combine multiple meshes into a new mesh non-destructively.
Ls Imm Tool is completely free to download and use.
Ls Imm Tool supports Blender version 4.2 and later, according to its listing. Before installing, confirm your Blender release meets the 4.2+ requirement, since compatibility with earlier versions is not stated by the developer. Because the add-on is built on the geometry node modifier, a version that includes the geometry nodes system is expected. For the most current version details and any additional requirements, check the developer's page on Superhive, which lists the supported Blender version alongside the latest release information.
Ls Imm Tool combines multiple input meshes into a new mesh in a way similar to the Insert Multi Mesh function of ZBrush brushes. It is based on the geometry node modifier, which generates the meshes non-destructively. A single combination can hold up to five meshes, and you can use different numbers of meshes according to your needs. Parameters let you adjust the density of the transition mesh and the position of the mid-section mesh, giving free control over the generated result.
The 1.1.1 release of Ls Imm Tool, dated June 21, 2025, added a Tilt smoothing function. It also changed the original gap handling for meshes B and D to a scale-based approach and added an offset property covering the original gap. The update fixed text errors as well. Earlier releases introduced quick IMM object creation, IMM node group updates, .uv_seam attribute transfer, and Chinese and English translations. Full release notes are available on the developer's page.
Ls Imm Tool is listed here as free. Licensing terms can change over time, so for the current pricing and license details it is best to check the developer's page on Superhive directly. The add-on is distributed under the GPL license according to its listing. For any questions about the product, the developer levosaber can be contacted through the provided channels, and documentation is included with the add-on to help you get started.
