Mask Prompter is a plugin from Blace Plugins for After Effects and Premiere Pro that generates mattes through prompting. Built on Segment Anything 3, it supports text prompting, box and concept prompting, and a detection threshold slider. You can produce multi object mattes from text, draw rectangles and adjust them with a rectangle scale slider, and the plugin includes multiple object detection models.
On the performance side, Mask Prompter runs in a CPU mode and also offers hardware acceleration. On Windows, an Nvidia graphics card is required for the GPU version, while systems with other GPUs fall back to CPU mode.
