Set Smooth Group
by VIktor-Kom
Set Smooth Group is a Blender add-on that sets smooth groups with sharp edges for selected faces. It smooths the selection, marks boundary edges as sharp, and mirrors a workflow familiar from 3Ds Max.

Mesh Copier earns its place in the superhive library for turning duplicated mesh detail into a straightforward copy-and-paste operation, driven from Blender's edge rings and faces. The workflow was simplified in version 2.0.0 so copying and pasting happen through the left-bottom menu rather than key modifiers, and later updates refined vertex merging and Blender compatibility.
Mesh Copier is a Blender add-on from KushiroCG for duplicating mesh details across a model. It works two ways: use a closed edge-ring loop as the source and paste the enclosed detail onto selected target faces, or set a single face as the source, add separated meshes to copy, and paste the result onto target faces.
After running the tool you choose Set Source, Copy or Paste directly from the left-bottom menu, where you can also adjust orientation, flip the copy horizontally, change the selected copy region, and toggle the Do not Scale and Do not merge options. Pasting merges only the vertices of the pasted mesh. The source works on flat surfaces only; curved surfaces are not supported as a source.
Distributed as a GPL-licensed add-on, Mesh Copier is compatible with Blender 2.83 through 5.1 and is listed as a Blender Extension. It's a practical option for building complex models that reuse duplicated parts.
Mesh Copier is best for blender modelers building complex meshes that reuse duplicated parts.
Mesh Copier is completely free to download and use.
Mesh Copier supports Blender 2.83 through 5.1 and is listed as a Blender Extension, distributed as an add-on under the GPL license. Version 2.3.0 fixed a missing-face problem, and earlier updates brought it in line with Blender 4.0.0. Because compatibility can shift as Blender evolves, it's worth checking the developer's page for the latest version and version-range details before installing into a specific project or pipeline.
Mesh Copier installs like a standard Blender add-on, but you should keep the downloaded zip intact. Do not unzip it first, or Blender will not install it correctly and errors can follow. If you already installed the unzipped files, uninstall the add-on, remove those files, and reinstall by selecting the zip during installation. Once it's installed, you run the tool and work through the Set Source, Copy and Paste options in the left-bottom menu.
Mesh Copier does not support curved surfaces as a source. The source edge ring needs to sit on a flat surface, so if your detail wraps around a curved area you'll need to work from a flat region instead. The destination is still defined by selected faces. This flat-surface limitation applies specifically to the source, so plan your source selection around flat geometry when copying detail across a model.
Mesh Copier relies on Blender's mesh data, so you should scale in Edit mode only when working with it. Scaling an object in Object mode can confuse Blender's mesh data for the add-on and lead to unexpected results. To scale correctly, enter Edit mode, select all, and use the S key. Keeping transforms in Edit mode helps the copy-and-paste operations read your geometry as expected.
Mesh Copier is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing and availability can change over time, so for the current terms and to grab the latest build, check KushiroCG's developer page directly. The add-on is distributed under the GPL license as a Blender Extension, and it carries an 11-rating history on its source listing. Confirm any current pricing or license details at the source before you download.
