Mojoblendo Tools earns its place in the superhive library by gathering a set of small, Modo-inspired adjustments to Blender's modeling, selection and view tools under one plugin. A demo video is available on the developer's page.
Mojoblendo Tools is a Blender toolkit from Elevons, LLC built around optimizations inspired by Modo. It sets out to speed up modeling, UV unwrapping and rendering workflows through a collection of small workflow tweaks. The developer built these tools after nearly twenty years of 3D work, much of it spent in Modo before moving to Blender.
On the view side, a Custom View Pie Menu (Ctrl-Space) adds functions for swapping between specialty modes, including View through Camera, View through Object for positioning lights, View Normal To for straight cuts, and Toggle Orthographic. Selection tools keep your selection when switching modes and gather selection styles into a pie menu. Modeling Tool Unifiers map extrude, bevel, dissolve and delete each to a single key across vertices, edges and faces, while the Cursor Pie Menu (Shift-C) adds functions to the 3D cursor. A UV Seam Auto Scale tool scales one UV island to match another based on shared edges.
Version 1.1 adds a Mirror Mesh tool that mirrors selected faces, edges or vertices around your chosen action center, and consolidates everything into a single plugin install.
Mojoblendo Tools is best for blender modelers, especially those coming from Modo, who want small workflow tweaks across modeling, selection, UV unwrapping and view navigation.
Mojoblendo Tools is completely free to download and use.
Mojoblendo Tools ships several actions on default keybindings you can trigger right away. The Custom View Pie Menu opens with Ctrl-Space, the Selection Style Pie Menu with Shift-Q, and the Cursor Pie Menu with Shift-C. The Tool Unifiers map Extrude to X, Bevel to B, Dissolve to Backspace and Delete to the Delete key, each working across vertices, edges and faces. Save Mesh Select Modes uses the 1, 2 and 3 keys. The UV Seam Auto Scale tool lives in the UV Editing N-Panel rather than on a shortcut.
Mojoblendo Tools version 1.1 introduces a Mirror Mesh tool, which mirrors your selected faces, edges or vertices around your chosen action center. This release also consolidates the toolkit, so a single plugin install now brings in everything included rather than requiring separate additions. If you want the full list of tools alongside the Mirror Mesh addition, the developer's page covers each one, from the view and selection changes through to the modeling unifiers, Cursor Pie Menu and UV Seam Auto Scale.
Mojoblendo Tools is listed as free in this catalog, so you can add it without a purchase here. Licensing and any current terms can change over time, so it's worth checking the developer's page from Elevons, LLC for the latest details before you rely on it in production. That page also hosts the demo video and the breakdown of each tool in the kit, which is useful context to have before installing.
Mojoblendo Tools includes a UV Seam Auto Scale tool that scales one UV island to match another based on their shared edges. For the best results, the developer suggests selecting the entire edge loop to take the measurement, then the entire edge loop on the target island to apply it. The tool is found in the UV Editing N-Panel. It fits alongside the wider aim of the toolkit, which targets UV unwrapping among its workflow speed-ups.
Mojoblendo Tools includes a Save Mesh Select Modes feature that keeps your current selection whenever you switch between mesh select modes. It can optionally override Blender's default 1-2-3 keymap, so that behaviour is up to you rather than forced. The original Convert behaviour remains available through the selection buttons in the Selection Toolbar. The kit also adds a Selection Style Pie Menu on Shift-Q, moving the different selection options into a quick-access pie menu.
