Made by an architect for architectural work, Parametric Structures Pro brings structure generation, paneling, physics simulation, and materials together in one Blender add-on, with geometry-node integration that keeps edits non-destructive.
Parametric Structures Pro is a Blender add-on built for parametric architectural modeling. It generates structures such as tensile membranes, domes, and hyperbolic paraboloids with real-time parametric adjustments, and converts curves into 3D structures with customizable mesh fill. Professional presets are included as starting points you can then customize in detail.
A smart paneling system offers patterns including diamond, waffle, honeycomb, plates, and custom tessellations, with control over thickness, density, offset, and edge sharpness. Physics simulation adds adjustable tension, gravity, and stiffness to model structural behavior, and animations can be baked. The material library ranges from transparent glass to polished metals with roughness and reflectivity adjustments, alongside effects such as iridescence, brushed metal, gradients, and geometric patterns, plus dynamic colors for frames and bases.
Geometry node modifiers are managed from the interface for non-destructive editing. The UI can be scaled, sections hidden, and tooltips toggled, with multilingual support in beta. Documentation, product updates, and support from Arq. Gustavo Garcia ARCHS are included.
Parametric Structures Pro is best for architects exploring parametric design, design studios prototyping quickly, 3D artists creating futuristic or organic environments, and manufacturers needing production-ready models.
Parametric Structures Pro is completely free to download and use.
Parametric Structures Pro integrates with Blender's geometry nodes, exposing node modifiers directly from its own interface so you manage them without working in the node editor. Editing stays non-destructive, which means you can experiment with parameters and step back without losing earlier work. This applies across the add-on's generation and paneling tools, where real-time parametric adjustments update the result as you change values. Professional presets are also available as starting points you can then customize to your design.
Parametric Structures Pro includes a physics simulation with adjustable tension, gravity, and stiffness, letting you model the structural behavior of a design and optimize it before building. Once you are satisfied with a result, animations can be baked for professional presentations. These controls sit alongside the structure generation tools, so simulation can be applied to tensile membranes, domes, hyperbolic paraboloids, and other generated forms within the same add-on, keeping the whole workflow in one place.
Parametric Structures Pro's smart paneling system offers architectural patterns including diamond, waffle, honeycomb, plates, and custom tessellations. You can adjust thickness, density, offset, and edge sharpness to control how each pattern is applied. Paneling works together with the structure generation tools, so patterns can sit on forms like domes and tensile membranes. A material library and effects such as iridescence, brushed metal, gradients, and geometric patterns can then be assigned, with dynamic colors for frames and bases.
Parametric Structures Pro is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing terms can change, so check the developer's page for current details before downloading. The developer, Arq. Gustavo Garcia ARCHS, provides documentation, product updates, and support with the add-on. Note there is a light version as well as a fuller version that adds further customization options, so confirm which package you are getting when you visit the developer's page and review what each one covers.
