Particle Pro earns its place in the aescripts library as a preset-driven particle toolkit built on Stardust, with a preset selection that has expanded across several updates.
Particle Pro, developed by LetsMotion, is an After Effects plugin for creating particle effects. It is powered by Stardust, which is required and must be purchased separately. The effects are built from presets organized into categories, giving you a preset-driven approach to particle work inside After Effects.
The plugin runs on version 1.5.0, last updated in February 2024. It is compatible with After Effects 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, and CC 2019. Across its release history, the library has expanded: a Shockwaves category arrived in an early update, and a later update added a new category with 40 presets, alongside a framework update and bug fixes.
Particle Pro is listed in the aescripts library, and a demo video is available for a closer look. Because it depends on Stardust, that plugin needs to be in place before Particle Pro's presets can be used.
Particle Pro is best for after Effects users who want to create particle effects from presets and already have Stardust available.

Particle Pro is powered by Stardust, which is required and must be purchased separately. That means the Stardust plugin needs to be present for Particle Pro's presets to work, and it is not bundled with Particle Pro. If you do not already own Stardust, you will need to acquire it separately before using Particle Pro. Particle Pro supports After Effects 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, and CC 2019, covering a wide range of recent and older releases. The current version is 1.5.0, last updated in February 2024. Support for After Effects 2022 was added in an earlier update, so newer releases are covered by the more recent versions. If you are on one of these listed versions, Particle Pro is compatible; for anything outside this list, check the developer's page for confirmation.

Particle Pro has expanded across several releases since its initial 1.0.0 version in May 2021. A Shockwaves category was introduced in the 1.1.0 update, and version 1.3.0 added a new category with 40 presets. Later updates included a framework update in 1.4.0 and a signature fix in version 1.5.0 from February 2024, along with earlier bug fixes and the addition of After Effects 2022 support.
