Why we like it

Pipeify grew out of ATDIGIT's tutorial "How to Bend a Cylinder in Blender," reworking that manual Spin Tool technique into a one-click, procedural Geometry Nodes system.

What is Pipeify - Instant Non-Destructive Pipes & Cables?

Pipeify is a hard-surface modeling add-on for Blender, powered entirely by Geometry Nodes. You start with a simple base cylinder and Pipeify handles geometry generation, bending and welding through stacked modifiers. Because everything stays a modifier, radius, segment count, bend angles and path direction remain editable at any point in the process.

The workflow runs in a few clicks. "Create Pipe Base" spawns a cylinder with all required attributes, and "Add Pipeify Bend" adds bend segments using preset angles of 45°, 90°, 135° and 180° or custom values. Bends can be placed in the ZY plane (Standard/Reverse) or the XZ plane (Left/Right Perpendicular) for true 3D pipe systems, and the pipe updates automatically as you stack and iterate.

A "Weld Distance" option merges vertices at joints for watertight topology, while Wire and Tube modes produce solid wire shapes or hollow tubes with one click. An Add Thickness tool converts a solid cylinder into a hollow tube using a Solidify-based modifier, and Profile Resolution and Segments settings balance render quality against viewport performance. Built-in quick tips appear directly in the panel.

Who is Pipeify - Instant Non-Destructive Pipes & Cables best for?

Pipeify - Instant Non-Destructive Pipes & Cables is best for blender artists building industrial machinery, sci-fi corridors, plumbing systems or architectural pipe and cable details non-destructively.

How much does Pipeify - Instant Non-Destructive Pipes & Cables cost?

Pipeify - Instant Non-Destructive Pipes & Cables is completely free to download and use.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pipeify work with Blender 4.2?

Pipeify requires Blender 4.2 or higher. It is optimized for cylinders and works best with the Pipeify base or standard mesh cylinders. The add-on needs no external libraries or API keys and runs 100% offline, so no internet connection is required to use it. Because it is built entirely on Geometry Nodes, the generated pipes update in real-time as you adjust parameters. Check the developer's page for the current supported version range before installing.

How do I install Pipeify in Blender?

Pipeify installs from a downloaded .zip file. In Blender 4.2 and newer you can drag and drop the .zip directly into the viewport, or use Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install from Disk and select the .zip. The add-on enables automatically after installation. You'll find the tools in the 3D Viewport Sidebar under the "Pipeify" tab, which you open by pressing the N key. Built-in quick tips are shown right in the panel to guide you.

How does the non-destructive workflow in Pipeify function?

Pipeify keeps everything as modifiers using stacked Geometry Nodes, so the pipe stays fully editable. You can change radius, segment count, bend angles and path direction at any time from the Modifier panel, and the pipe updates automatically as you work. Bends can be stacked in Standard, Reverse or Perpendicular directions, and Profile Resolution and Segments let you balance render quality against viewport performance. The base cylinder remains the foundation while Pipeify handles topology and connections.

Is Pipeify free?

Pipeify is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing and distribution terms can change over time, so check the developer's page for the current details before downloading. To use it you download the .zip from your dashboard and install it into Blender 4.2 or higher. No external libraries, API keys or internet connection are required once installed, since Pipeify runs completely offline on your machine.
