Print2CAD 2025 KI converts 2D and 3D PDF files into DWG and DXF for use alongside 3ds Max, and can also publish 2D and 3D DWG as interactive PDF. It converts raster images such as TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PNG and GIF into CAD vector elements, and reads HPGL and DWF into DWG or DXF as well.
During conversion, vectors, lines, circles, arcs, surfaces, splines, texts and pixel graphics are transferred into the chosen format. Pixel graphics can be turned into vectors, embedded, or stored in a separate file. OCR recognises PDF text, PDF characters are joined into text, and PDF colours convert to CAD index colours or full RGB. Where a PDF layer structure is missing, layers can be created from colours and line weights, and TTF fonts are supported.
It handles single-page and multi-page PDF documents, supports batch and command-line operation at no extra charge, and can convert thousands of files in one run. The interface is available in German, English, Italian, Spanish and French, and a 250-page manual ships as an interactive PDF.
