Earns its place in the superhive library by collecting everyday modeling actions — selection, duplication, mirroring, subdivision and modifier setup — behind one Blender panel.
Quick Object Explorer is an add-on for Blender that groups a set of object and mesh operations into a single dedicated panel. It is built for the 3D modeling process, letting you select any object by name and set it as active, then act on it from the same place. The add-on is compatible with Blender 3.0 and above.
From the panel you can duplicate selected objects with a single click, mirror objects along the X-axis for symmetrical designs, and subdivide meshes to add detail. A Send to Floor function adjusts objects to rest on the floor based on their bounding box. For shape changes, a Cast Modifier can be applied, and an Array Modifier can be added and configured with count, offset, and both constant and object-based offsets.
Properties can be adjusted in real time, with changes reflected immediately in the viewport. Distributed under the GPL license, Quick Object Explorer keeps selection, duplication and modifier tools together while you model in Blender.
Quick Object Explorer is best for blender modelers who want object selection, duplication, mirroring, subdivision and modifier controls grouped in one panel.
Quick Object Explorer is completely free to download and use.
Quick Object Explorer is compatible with Blender 3.0 and above, and the listed versions run from 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6 through to 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2. That range covers recent releases, so if you are on 4.2 the add-on is supported. If you run an older build, confirm it is 3.0 or newer before installing, and check the developer's page for the latest compatibility details.
Quick Object Explorer is listed as free here in the catalog, and it is distributed under the GPL license. For current licensing terms, download details and any conditions attached to use or redistribution, head to the developer's page. Because the GPL applies, you have the freedoms that license grants, though the specifics of how the author packages and supports the add-on are best confirmed directly with Team Blender before you rely on it in a project.
Quick Object Explorer integrates into Blender's interface through a dedicated panel that provides quick access to all of its functionalities. From that panel you can adjust properties in real time and see the changes reflected immediately in the viewport. Selection, duplication, mirroring and the modifier tools are grouped there, so the add-on's controls sit together in one panel while you work on your objects rather than spread across separate menus.
Quick Object Explorer can apply a Cast Modifier to change the shape of your objects to various forms, and it can add and configure an Array Modifier. The Array options include count and offset, with both constant and object-based offsets available. Alongside the modifiers, it also handles mirroring objects along the X-axis, subdividing meshes, and a Send to Floor action that adjusts objects to rest on the floor based on their bounding box.
