Quick World is a Blender add-on for building HDRI-based environments aimed at quick renders. Instead of searching online for HDRIs or wiring up complex nodes, it draws on the HDRIs already pre-installed in Blender. You pick one from a dropdown and generate a lit world with a single click, while informative messages provide visual feedback along the way.
The workflow lives in the World Properties tab: open the Quick World panel, select an HDRI, and click Generate World. Advanced options add a blur effect to the HDRI for softer atmospheres and a flat background that swaps the HDRI for a solid color on camera rays. You can set the blur intensity and background color from the interface, and version 1.1 added a slider for rotating the HDRI with a degree (°) indicator.
It suits quick renders, lighting tests, and rapid iterations, and works for projects ranging from architecture to product design and animation. Quick World is distributed under the GPL license and supports all of Blender's preinstalled HDRIs.
