Randomize_Bones_Pose is a Blender add-on from IZ.MdVerz that randomizes the rotation, location, and scale of bones on a selected armature. With a single click it applies new random transformations, giving characters and particle animations unexpected poses. You can choose to add the randomness to the current transform or replace it with a fresh random transform, and fine-tune the noise scale for rotation, location, and scale to control the degree of variation. The add-on works in object mode, with its controls available from the N panel.
Version 2.0.0 reworked the interface and added several controls based on user feedback. Selected Bones Only support lets you randomize just the chosen bones in Pose Mode, while random seed control makes results reproducible. A symmetry option handles automatic left and right bone mirroring using .L/.R and _L/_R naming, and axis-specific X, Y, Z sliders offer per-axis precision. Timeline randomization applies changes across multiple frames, and the release adds Blender 5.0 compatibility.
Keyframes for the new transformations are inserted automatically, which makes it straightforward to adjust the resulting animations, including varied or looping motion. Randomize_Bones_Pose is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer and is distributed under the GPL v3.0 or later.
