A focused addon that pairs procedural brow generation with a haircard baking workflow aimed at game engines like Unreal, Unity and Godot.
Superfacial Brows is a Blender addon built for creating eyebrows on character meshes. It procedurally generates organic brows, lets you customize them, and manages the brow presets you create. Controls sit in a clean side panel, and brows can be generated on any face mesh with a single click. Base brow meshes are included for Make Human, DAZ and Character Creator, and the addon works with any avatar mesh.
Shape control ranges from moving vertices freely in Edit Mode to Mood/Style options for quick adjustments without touching vertices, alongside Arc and Tail controls. Natural Flow, hair, baby hair, makeup-level detail, and separate random seed controls for left and right brows round out the styling. Workflow tools include toggling Outline, Guide and Hair individually, switching sides, generating the opposite brow, and factory and user presets with save/load.
The baking side bakes brows to haircards with custom resolution and samples, supports GPU acceleration, and reduces poly count from 100k+ to under 100 triangles for use in engines such as Unreal, Unity and Godot. Haircards can be generated automatically or supplied as your own.
Superfacial Brows is best for character artists, 3D modelers and game developers creating customizable, game-ready eyebrows in Blender.
Superfacial Brows is completely free to download and use.
Superfacial Brows is compatible with Blender 4.2.3 LTS through 5.0. It runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux, with Linux testing noted on SteamOS 3.7.17. The addon uses the Cycles and Eevee render engines. If you work across multiple machines or operating systems, this range covers current LTS and recent Blender releases, so check that your Blender install falls within 4.2.3 LTS to 5.0 before installing.
Superfacial Brows bakes brow meshes into optimized haircard assets suitable for Unreal, Unity, Godot and other game engines. Baking supports custom resolution and samples along with GPU acceleration, and it reduces poly count from over 100k triangles to under 100. You can generate haircards automatically or use your own custom ones, making the addon geared toward performance-conscious game and real-time workflows.
Superfacial Brows works with any avatar mesh and ships with base brow meshes for Make Human, DAZ and Character Creator. Eyebrows can be generated on any face mesh with a single click. Shape adjustment ranges from moving vertices freely in Edit Mode to Mood/Style options that let you tweak the shape without touching individual vertices, alongside dedicated Arc and Tail controls.
Superfacial Brows is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing on the developer's page distinguishes personal use from commercial team tiers, and the addon is distributed under the GPL license. For current licensing terms, team-size options and the latest details, visit the developer's page directly. Because terms can change over time, confirming there before use is the safest approach for both personal and studio projects.
