synthetick GradientHub imports gradients from three formats: GRD (Photoshop), CSS, and SVG. Importing these files gives access to thousands of free gradients available online and helps keep motion graphics matched to a client's brand. Alongside imports, the panel includes 500+ built-in presets, and you can save your own gradients into categories and subcategories with auto-generated thumbnails. Any gradient, whether imported, built-in, or saved, can be applied to Colorama, Color Shift, Shape Layers, or Layer Styles.

synthetick GradientHub is listed as free in this catalog. A free trial is also described that limits you to the Colorama built-in presets and the first seven presets in each of the other categories. synthetick GradientHub applies gradients to Shape Layers one layer at a time; shape layer application does not run across multiple layers in a single action. Within a layer, Apply to selected updates existing Gradient Fills and Strokes, using the topmost one per shape when there are several, while Add new gradient adds a new Gradient Fill or Stroke group to the layer contents. Fills/Strokes filters let you narrow which types are affected when you've made a wider selection.

synthetick GradientHub gives two options in Colorama and Color Shift modes. With Apply to existing, only the gradient on the effect already on your layer is updated, so you can try many presets without stacking multiple effects, and other parameters you've adjusted stay untouched. With Add new unless selected, a new instance of the effect is added unless you first select the specific effect you want to update. This lets you choose between quick preset auditioning and building up multiple effects.
