Stands out in the superhive library for putting a live preview in front of the retopology process, so you adjust density and edge flow visually instead of relying on repeated trial and error.
TopoVision is a Blender addon for automatic retopology built around a live preview. Rather than entering values, waiting for a result, and re-running the process when it isn't right, it lets you preview the topology before the mesh is generated. As you adjust the settings, you see how density, edge flow, and polygon distribution will look in real time, which reduces the trial-and-error of typical automatic retopology.
The workflow is straightforward: select your mesh, hit Preview, and optionally turn on Wireframe to check the topology. Adjust the settings until you are happy, then click Done to generate the mesh. If you have already found the settings you want, the RUN button generates it instantly.
TopoVision also includes Engine Mode, a custom engine that keeps Blender's default tools while modifying and improving the symmetry system for more control and stability, except the Voxel Engine. The engine for better results is currently available through QRemeshify by Ksami; install that addon and it appears as the TopoVision Engine. Documentation is included.
Topovision - See Your Topology Before It Exists is best for blender artists doing automatic retopology who want to preview density and edge flow before generating the final mesh.
Topovision - See Your Topology Before It Exists is completely free to download and use.
TopoVision builds its retopology around a live preview. You select your mesh, hit the Preview button, and can optionally activate Wireframe to check the mesh topology. As you adjust the settings, you see how the density, edge flow, and polygon distribution will look in real time, before the topology mesh is generated. When the result looks right, click Done and the mesh is created. If you already know the settings you want, the RUN button generates the mesh instantly instead of stepping through the preview.
TopoVision's engine for better results is currently available only through QRemeshify by Ksami, so you need to install that addon first. You install it like any other Blender addon, with no additional setup or configuration required. Once installed, QRemeshify appears as the TopoVision Engine, and you can start using it immediately without any warnings. The download link for QRemeshify and further details are provided on the developer's page.
TopoVision ships with Engine Mode, its own custom engine that keeps Blender's default tools while modifying and improving the symmetry system for more control and stability, with the exception of the Voxel Engine. The developer describes the results as on par with Blender's default tools, just simplified and enhanced with a built-in symmetry mode. You can experiment with the settings that suit your needs and see the outcome through the live preview the addon provides.
TopoVision is listed as free here in the catalog, so you can try it without a purchase from this listing. Licensing and pricing can change over time, so it is worth confirming the current terms on the developer's product page. That page also includes a rating section and the full product details, which the developer notes reflect exactly what you get. A demo video is also available if you want to see more before installing.
