WireColor Pro is a MaxScript tool for Autodesk 3ds Max focused on manipulating object colors, materials, and instances within a scene. It can randomize the wirecolors of 3D objects, apply colors to entire groups, and synchronize colors across instances so that duplicated objects stay consistent. It also sets gradient colors between selected objects for smooth transitions, and alters wirecolor in real time.
The script ships with five curated color presets — Pastel, Gray, Toxic, Clay, and Random — and offers flexible targeting, letting you apply changes to Geometry, Shapes, Groups, All Objects, or a Selection. A dual color picker gives precise control, and undo/redo support with full history lets you experiment. Its smart selection handling works either on a selection or across the entire scene.
Beyond colorization, WireColor Pro can convert object colors into material colors, with a choice between physical and standard materials, and it can remove materials from multiple objects at once for scene cleanup. Formerly known as ProColor, the tool is aimed at 3D artists, designers, and technical artists. A tutorial in Italian by Marcello Pattarin is available, along with a demo video.
