Animation Retimer is also included in the developer's Shot Manager Pro package; see the Shot Manager listing for details.
Animation Retimer works inside Blender to retime keyframes across multiple objects at once. You define a From Range to modify and a To Range as its destination, with the transformation covering scale and offset. Actions can be filtered by their domain type, so you can retime object animation and materials only, and the tool supports NLA by shifting and slicing action strips on the NLA graphs of included data.
Three methods handle the retiming: Ripple shifts keyframes around the affected time range to accommodate the change, Replace overwrites keyframes within the To Range, and Combine overlays adjusted keyframes from the From Range to the To Range. Ripple Direction limits backwards and forwards frame accommodation. Options include Object Hierarchy for recursively selecting child objects and Only Selected to restrict changes to selected objects.
A timeline overlay visualizes affected regions before the operation, showing source frames in blue and the target range in orange, with X lines marking resulting empty space. Operations remain adjustable within the redo popover, and the interface provides hints, warnings and an affected actions list.
Animation Retimer is best for blender animators retiming keyframes across multiple objects, creating space for new shots, or adjusting action speed including NLA.
Animation Retimer is completely free to download and use.
Animation Retimer supports Blender versions 3.6 through 5.1 according to its listing. If you are running a version within that range, the add-on is designed to work with your setup. For versions outside that window, or to confirm compatibility with the specific build you use, check the developer's documentation before installing. The documentation is available on the Other Realms Shot Manager site, which covers the Animation Retimer tool in detail.
Animation Retimer uses a timeline overlay to visualize affected regions before the operation runs. Source frames appear in blue and the target range appears in orange, while X lines indicate where the result will produce empty space. This lets you see how the retiming will land ahead of committing to it. After the operation, the settings remain adjustable within the redo popover, so you can tweak the outcome, and the interface also surfaces hints, warnings and a list of affected actions.
Animation Retimer includes a Retime NLA option that shifts and slices action strips on the NLA graphs of the included data. This means retiming is not limited to raw dopesheet keyframes but can carry through to the non-linear animation setup. Combined with the domain filtering, you can control which data types are affected, and the Only Selected option restricts changes to selected objects, while unchecking it reveals scene and world types and affects actions across the filtered types.
Animation Retimer is listed here as free and is distributed under the GPL license. It is also included in the developer's Shot Manager Pro package, so its features overlap with that larger tool. For current licensing terms, availability and any details specific to how you obtain it, refer to the Other Realms product pages and documentation directly, since these can change over time and the listing is the authoritative source.
