Auto Eye is a fully procedural eye for Blender that renders in both Cycles and Eevee. Because it relies on procedural textures, the result holds up at any resolution, including close-up cameras. It targets a wide range of looks, from realistic to cartoon and animal eyes.
Customization runs through material parameters and eight shape keys covering iris and pupil forms, alongside controls for the collarette, crypts, fake shadow and cornea mask hardness. Node parameters come in a Full and a Lite version, and Cycles offers a real-time preview.
For animation, you can disable the cornea's viewport visibility on the Cornea Mask modifier to check where a character is looking in Solid mode. Auto Eye can also bake Color, Specular, Roughness and Bump maps, with three tutorials covering the process. It installs as a standard Blender add-on and is added to the scene from the Add menu.
