B Unicode adds Unicode character access to three Blender editors: the Text Editor, the Video Sequence Editor (VSE), and the 3D Viewport, all reachable from a Unicode menu. It spans a range of categories, from symbols and emojis to mathematical operators and currency symbols.
Characters appear in a grid display for browsing and selection. Two modes cover how they get used: Copy Mode sends a character to your clipboard with a single click, while Insert Mode places characters into text blocks, VSE text strips, or 3D text objects. Typical uses include adding symbols and emojis to VSE text strips, giving 3D text objects special characters, and pulling up Unicode instantly while working in the Text Editor.
Built by Dinesh007, the add-on runs on Blender 5.1 and newer and is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. It requires no special permissions and sits at rank 413 in the Blender Extensions library.
