Blender Ueo earns its place in the superhive library as a grab-bag of small fixes rather than a single-purpose tool, handy if the specific frictions it targets match your own. Worth noting: the RGB effect is a tradeoff, since enabling it makes transform tools and other UI harder to select.
Blender Ueo is a collection of workflow tweaks built by xinglong to address problems and rough experiences the developer ran into while using Blender. Rather than one feature, it groups several small utilities that each target a specific friction point.
Selection gets a right-click select-all command in both the outline view and the 3D viewport, with multiple selections allowed for collections and objects and three follow-up options after selecting in the 3D view. Modifier handling covers batch removal, either all at once or by modifier name, plus batch replication that copies with parameters or by creating a new one. A window shortcut menu opens various editor windows quickly, and its first item is a Notepad supporting .py and .txt files. On-screen text and UI prompts flag the current mode and perspective, x-ray status can be synchronized within the main window, and an optional RGB lighting effect can be turned on.
A later update adds partial hiding and display of a model in different modes, implemented through a geometry node modifier that can simply be deleted when no longer needed.
Blender Ueo is best for blender users who want to smooth out selection, modifier management, and viewport feedback through a bundle of small utilities.
Blender Ueo is completely free to download and use.
Blender Ueo lists support for Blender 4.0 and 3.6, so those are the releases to target when installing it. The plugin was published over two years ago, so its behaviour on newer Blender builds isn't confirmed here; check the developer's page before relying on it with a more recent release. If you're updating or reinstalling the plugin, restart Blender afterward to avoid errors in the RGB functionality, a step the developer specifically calls out.
Blender Ueo handles this automatically: when you save the Blender file, the plugin first closes all notes so they aren't written into the .blend. Notes live in a separate Notepad folder, which you can open through a system directory command to rename, create, modify, or delete files freely. The developer still cautions against keeping important or private information in notes, since an unexpected operation or bug could leave a note unclosed and saved into a file you share. Only modify files inside the Notepad folder.
Blender Ueo lets you turn on an RGB lighting effect if you want it, but the developer flags a tradeoff: with RGB enabled, the transform tools and other UI become difficult to select, so moving, scaling, and rotating handles are harder to click. Whether to enable it is left to your own consideration. There's also a setup note, since updating or reinstalling the plugin calls for restarting Blender after installation to avoid errors in the RGB functionality.
Blender Ueo is listed as free in this catalog and is distributed under the GPL license. Licensing terms can change over time, so check the developer's page on superhive for the current details before downloading. The plugin comes from creator xinglong, and a demo video is available if you want to see more before installing. If you're reinstalling it, remember to restart Blender afterward to avoid RGB errors, per the developer's install note.
