Earns its place in the superhive library by combining several distinct alignment methods — line, triangle, bounding box, and grid — in a single add-on.
Bonus Tools is an add-on from DatQuach that gathers several alignment and arranging utilities for Blender. Its tools can be activated from the header or the N-panel, giving you a set of ways to line up, snap, and lay out objects in a scene.
Align Line places selected objects along a path between two chosen objects, A and B, spacing them evenly by default; pressing D disables the even spacing. Align Triangle snaps one object to another by selecting three pairs of corresponding points, with object A scaling to fit by default. Align Box adds interactive buttons around the bounding box of selected objects so others align to the reference bounding box edges and faces.
Xpose, inspired by ZBrush's Xpose, lays out objects evenly on a grid, letting you pick the plane and adjust the margin between objects. Armature In Front brings the armature to the front of all other objects in the viewport for better visibility during rigging and animation. A demo video is available.
Bonus Tools is best for blender users aligning, snapping, and arranging multiple objects, plus riggers who want the armature kept visible in the viewport.
Bonus Tools is completely free to download and use.
Bonus Tools lists compatibility with Blender versions 4.3 through 4.5. If you're on one of those releases, the add-on's alignment and arranging tools should be available from the header or the N-panel. For versions outside that range, or to confirm the latest supported builds, check the developer's page before installing, since compatibility details can shift as new Blender releases arrive.
Bonus Tools activates its alignment features from the Blender header or the N-panel. For Align Line, you select the objects you want to align, activate the tool, then choose two objects, A and B — all selected objects line up along a path from A to B. Objects are evenly spaced by default, and pressing the D key disables that even spacing. It's one of several alignment methods the add-on offers.
Bonus Tools is listed as free here in our catalog. Licensing terms can change over time, so for the current price, license, and any purchase details, the developer's page is the place to confirm before you rely on it. The add-on is distributed under the GPL license, which is standard across Blender add-ons and covers how you can use, modify, and share the tool.
Bonus Tools includes an Armature In Front feature that brings the armature to the front of all other objects in the viewport. It's aimed at better visibility during rigging and animation, keeping the armature drawn ahead of other objects while you work. Alongside it, the add-on provides tools for aligning and arranging objects, so rigging visibility is one part of a broader toolkit.
