C-Slash earns its place in the Superhive library for handling object isolation directly in the viewport, covering children, constraints, and Pose Mode rigs without trips through the Outliner.
C-Slash is a productivity addon for Blender built for animators, riggers, and scene builders who want precise control over what appears in the viewport. Selecting objects and pressing Ctrl+/ isolates them along with their entire hierarchy — children, constraints, and rigs in Pose Mode — inside a clean Local View, so there is no need to manually hide or reveal objects through the Outliner.
The addon is hierarchy aware: all parented and nested children of a selection are automatically included, and it works with multiple selections rather than just the active object. Rigs stay in Pose Mode after isolation, even across multiple armatures. An "Include Constraints" checkbox brings in objects linked to your selection through Child Of constraints.
C-Slash supports Blender 4.4 down to 3.0, and works with both Cycles and Eevee. It is released under the GPL license. A demo video is available, and the most recent update improved detection of Child Of parents along with better dependency lookups.
C-Slash is best for animators posing complex rigs, rigging artists cleaning up clutter, and scene layout artists who want focused control in the viewport.
C-Slash is completely free to download and use.
C-Slash supports a wide range of Blender releases, listed as versions 4.4, 4.3, 4.2, 4.1, 4.0, 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, and 3.0. It works with both the Cycles and Eevee render engines, so it fits into most existing Blender projects regardless of which of those engines you use. Check the developer's page to confirm the current version list before installing this addon in your own workflow.
C-Slash keeps rigs in Pose Mode after isolation, and this applies even when you are working with multiple armatures at once. When you isolate a selection, the addon includes the full hierarchy of the selected objects, so parented and nested children come along automatically. This lets riggers and animators isolate a rig and continue posing without leaving Pose Mode or manually restoring their working state.
C-Slash provides an "Include Constraints" checkbox that, when enabled, automatically includes objects linked to your selection through Child Of constraints during isolation. The most recent update improved detection of Child Of parents and added better dependency lookups. This means objects connected by those constraints can be brought into the isolated view alongside your selected objects and their hierarchy, rather than being left out.
C-Slash is listed as free in this catalog. It is released under the GPL license, and the developer offers different licensing options for personal and commercial use. Because licensing terms can change, check the developer's page for the current details before you rely on it in a commercial project. The GPL license governs how the addon itself may be used and distributed.
