Coretools - Edge Project is an add-on for Blender that extends selected open edges of a mesh toward nearby visible surfaces. Each edge is projected or extended independently, following its own direction in world space rather than a single shared vector.
The tool works across single or multiple objects and supports multi-object editing. When calculating projections, it takes into account all visible meshes, including meshes with temporarily hidden geometry, and applies a filter that ignores objects set to Bounds or Wire display as well as the object itself.
Coretools - Edge Project is Blender extension compatible and supports Blender versions 4.5 through 5.0, working with the Cycles and Eevee render engines. It is released under the GPL license, documentation is included, and a demo video is available on the developer's page.
