Ctrl Plus earns its place in the superhive library by collecting small, repeatable Blender actions such as snapping, camera alignment, and purging unused data behind buttons and shortcuts you can enable or disable one by one.
Ctrl Plus is a Blender add-on from Watermelon that gathers a set of buttons and keyboard shortcuts. Its buttons cover file and shading actions: a Location button opens the file browser at the location where the current Blender file is saved, a Base Color Pass toggle activates a simplified base color view in the Shader Editor so you can use the eyedropper on base colors without lighting effects, and a Save Viewer Node Image button writes out the Viewer Node image without re-rendering.
Two snapping buttons round out the panel. Snap Pivot Point moves the pivot to the selected vertex, edge, or face in Edit Mode, or to the selected object in Object Mode, while Snap 3D Cursor sends the cursor to the selected geometry in Edit Mode or to an object's pivot point in Object Mode.
On the shortcut side, Ctrl+T splits the 3D viewport into a UV Editor and a 3D viewport, Ctrl+Tab toggles contexts in the Image Editor, Shader Editor, and Outliner, Ctrl+Shift+left-click drag up adds a camera aligned to the current viewport, and Ctrl+Shift+Delete opens the Purge menu for clearing unused data. Every button and shortcut can be toggled individually from the add-on preferences.
Ctrl Plus is best for blender users who want quick access to snapping, camera setup, viewport splitting, and file tasks through buttons and toggleable shortcuts.
Ctrl Plus is completely free to download and use.
Ctrl Plus lists compatibility with Blender 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3, and it is marked as Blender Extension compatible. It is distributed as an add-on under the GPL license. If you run one of these versions, you can install it and reach its buttons and shortcuts; for anything outside this range, check the developer's page to confirm current support before relying on it in a production project.
Ctrl Plus lets you toggle any button or shortcut in the pack on or off. Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons and search for Ctrl Plus to reach its settings, where each button or shortcut can be enabled or disabled individually. That way you can keep only the actions you use and switch off the rest. The developer also invites requests for additional buttons to include in future releases.
Ctrl Plus maps Ctrl+Tab to a context-aware toggle that changes with the editor you are working in. In the Image Editor it switches between the Image and UV Editor modes. In the Shader Editor it toggles between Object and World shaders. In the Outliner it toggles between the View Layer and Blender File views. The add-on also adds Ctrl+T, which splits the 3D viewport into a UV Editor and a 3D viewport.
Ctrl Plus is listed as free in this catalog, and it is distributed as a Blender add-on under the GPL license. Licensing and availability can change over time, so check the developer's page for the current terms before you download. The extension is also marked as a Dev Fund contributor entry on its listing, which is worth noting if that factors into how you choose Blender add-ons.
