EasyCameraAlongPath is a 3ds Max script by colinsenner that handles the repetitive steps of moving a camera along a spline. After you draw a spline, the script creates a new camera, path-constrains it to that spline, and sets the keyframes to animate from 0 to 100 percent along the path.
The script also sets the tangents for that motion to "ease in" and "ease out", so the camera's movement isn't linear at the start and end. This keeps the whole camera-on-path workflow contained in a single automated pass rather than a manual sequence of linking, constraining and keyframing.
Delivered as a compact .ms script file, EasyCameraAlongPath is compatible with 3ds Max version 9 and later. A demo video is available, and the developer's page offers more from colinsenner. It is a small, focused utility aimed at making a common animation setup quicker to perform.
